Rare Bareli (UP), Feb 21 (Reporter) Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and local MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday launched a scathing attack on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that it is wrong to call this government a double engine government because it has no engine, it is a fake government. Rahul said that the manner in which inflation and unemployment are increasing, the life of common people is becoming difficult. He said that today an unemployed person is paying the same amount of GST that a billionaire industrialist is paying. He said that today two Indias are being created, one is the India of the rich people and the other is the India of the common people. "We oppose such a system. Remove this type of government and bring Congress to power, then see what we do," he said. During his two-day visit the Leader of the Opposition met the people, garlanded the statue of freedom fighter Veera Pasi and visited the Rail Coach Factory. During his whirlwind tour, while on one hand he offered prayers in many temples, on the other he interacted with women and youth and also met the common people. Rahul met the delegation of common people as per his scheduled programme on Friday morning. Apart from this, he also garlanded the statue of freedom fighter Veera Pasi in Bhira Govindpur. Rahul Gandhi along with MP from Amethi KL Sharma visited the Modern Rail Coach Factory and held a meeting with General Manager Prashant Kumar Mishra and senior officials regarding the coach factory. During the meeting, the factory administration provided information about all the stages of manufacturing of various coaches produced in the factory like Sleeper, AC3 Economic, Humsafar, Antyodaya, AC Pantry Car, Non AC Chair Car, Tejas, Rajdhani, Bharat Gaurav, Mozambique and Vande Bharat. The officials informed that this year the production of coaches has been focused on general and sleeper class coaches used by the general public, which is about 90 percent of the total production of the year. It may be noted that the Modern Rail Coach Factory Raebareli was set up in 2007 by the then MP from Rae Bareli Sonia Gandhi. In his address Rahul said that railways are the basic need of the people and revolutionary changes have taken place in railways. He expressed happiness and said that the factory is contributing in the manufacturing of coaches while in most of the areas only trading work is going on. He said that manufacturing work is more difficult than trading because all the important work related to design, planning, and logistics have to be done in it.
