Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the state government is firmly committed to the welfare of the poor, farmers (Annadata), youth, and women of Madhya Pradesh. Inspired by the values of Lord Shri Ram, the government is fulfilling every promise made to the people. The 24th instalment of the Ladli Behna Yojana has been released for more than 1.27 crore women in the state. By transferring ₹1,250 every month to their accounts, the state celebrates Raksha Bandhan with its sisters each month.
Dr. Yadav emphasised that honouring women has been a timeless tradition in India. "We are followers of Lord Ram’s ideals—those who fulfil their promises, even at the cost of their lives," he said. The entire state feels proud to honour its Ladli Behnas, who have collectively received benefits exceeding ₹28,000 crore so far. “The government’s doors are always open for sisters,” he affirmed. He added that when money reaches women's accounts, it brings prosperity into homes, comparing them to the goddess Lakshmi.
India is the only country where the land is worshipped as a mother, Dr. Yadav said, reflecting on the deep-rooted values of Indian family culture, where mothers prioritise their children over themselves.
The Chief Minister made these remarks while addressing a state-level event in Sidhi, where he distributed welfare benefits and performed inauguration and foundation-laying ceremonies for development projects.
In a single click, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred ₹1,551.89 crore to the accounts of 1.27 crore Ladli Behnas, ₹341 crore to 56.83 lakh social security pension beneficiaries, and ₹30.83 crore for LPG cylinder refills to over 26 lakh women.
He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones with Bhoomi-Pujan for various development projects in Sidhi district worth ₹112 crore. He declared that there will be no compromise in the development of the Rewa-Sidhi region.
