No Effort Will Be Spared for Development Of Region: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav affirmed the state government's unwavering commitment to the development of the poor and tribal communities. Speaking at a large tribal convention in Majhouli, located in Dhouhani Assembly of Sidhi district, Dr. Yadav said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we have worked to improve the lives of every citizen. I share a deep emotional connection with Vindhya, and no stone will be left unturned for its development.”

During the convention, Dr. Yadav made several important announcements for the advancement of the Dhouhani Assembly region.

Dr. Yadav highlighted that the state's irrigation capacity has increased from 7 lakh hectares to 65 lakh hectares over the past two decades and will be further expanded by 10 lakh hectares in the next four years. Under the solar pump scheme, farmers will receive free electricity, and surplus power can be sold for extra income. The Chief Minister announced a reward of Rs. 1 lakh each to two meritorious girls from the region—Pragya Jaiswal, who topped the 10th board exam, and a 12th-grade state merit holder. Folk artists participating in the ceremony will receive Rs. 10,000 each.

Praising India’s military, Dr. Yadav said, “Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Operation Sindoor has shown the world India’s strength. Anyone who dares to challenge us will face a strong response from our armed forces.”
He lauded the success of Operation Sindoor, led by Vindhya-born chiefs of the Indian Army and Navy, which brought global recognition to the region’s valor.

CM Dr. Yadav announced Approval for Majhouli Irrigation Scheme via Bansagar Dam, Construction of a stadium and an auditorium at the Janpad office in Majhouli, New road from Old Bus Stand to New Bus Stand in Majhouli, Upgradation of Arts and Commerce College in Majhouli, Post-matric hostels to be constructed in Majhouli, Madwas, and Kusmi, ST hostels to be built in Kundaur, Kota, Piprahi, Deba, and Dhupkheda, Roads to be constructed from Sajapani (Singrauli) to Jhahari & from Gadhaigaon to Bharsedi, Niwas outpost to be upgraded to a police station after review, A new college to be established in Niwas, Health centers in the area will also be upgraded, A Baiga Development Authority to be formed by combining Sidhi and Singrauli districts, and Resettlement issues of villages in the Sanjay Tiger Reserve to be resolved through dialogue and coordination.
