Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh, known as the heart of India, is one of the country's leading tourist destinations due to its rich natural beauty, historical heritage, and cultural diversity. The state's dense forests, rare wildlife, historic forts, ancient temples, and vibrant culture attract millions of tourists every year. He emphasized that due to the government's policies and initiatives, investment in the tourism sector has increased significantly, leading to remarkable growth in the state's economy and employment opportunities.

Dr. Yadav highlighted that with the efforts of the state government, Madhya Pradesh has established a distinct identity among India's top tourist destinations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself acknowledged that an international magazine has recognized Madhya Pradesh as one of the world's best tourism destinations. The state government’s initiatives are not only preserving its cultural and natural heritage but also helping the state secure a strong position on the global tourism map.

Madhya Pradesh is home to 24 wildlife sanctuaries, 12 national parks, 9 tiger reserves, and 14 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, making it one of India’s most biodiverse states. Additionally, the south-facing Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain and the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga are major centers of faith for devotees.
