Pathariya Bypass to be Constructed Costing Rs 51 Crore : CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the Ken-Betwa River Linking Project, which will transform the landscape and destiny of the Bundelkhand region. The implementation of this project will benefit ten districts, including Damoh. More than 8 lakh hectares of land in the Bundelkhand region will receive water for irrigation, drinking, and industrial purposes. This initiative will enable the region to surpass Punjab in agricultural production, eradicate water scarcity, and enhance the prosperity of farmers. The Chief Minister urged local residents not to sell their land, as it is going to be proved highly valuable

Dr. Yadav on this occasion, announced the construction of the Pathariya Bypass for Rs 51 crore. Additionally, he declared that a Higher Secondary School be named after nationalist thinker Shri K.C. Sudarshan and that boating activities will commence at the Matkoleswar Seetanagar Dam for tourism development.

Dr. Yadav made these announcements while addressing the annual festival of Pujya Jai-Jai Sarkar at Ajab Dham, near Pathariya in Damoh district, on Wednesday evening.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the state government is committed to fulfilling Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a Developed India. Along with river-linking projects, the state government has also been focusing on promoting animal husbandry and leading in milk production. A subsidy plan has been introduced for rearing ten cows, along with a bonus on milk production. Furthermore, he appealed for curbing unnecessary expenses in wedding ceremonies.
