Mumbai, June 26 (Reporter) Erasing gains, the Rupee on Wednesday slipped 14 paise to close negative at 83.57 against USD on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers dealers at the Foreign exchange said. The local unit that eased five paise at 83.49 in opening trade, lost further and finished at 83.57 sliding 14 paise as compared to its previous close. The domestic unit tumbled down owing to strong Dollar against other world currencies despite strong equity market.
