Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi mention's Suma Uike from the Katangi block in Balaghat district during his Mann Ki Baat program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister. CM Dr. Yadav remarked that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the state government is working dedicatedly to bring about changes in the lives of women, youth, poor & farmers, and to help them move towards self-reliance. He noted that the Prime Minister's acknowledgment of these efforts in Mann Ki Baat has greatly motivated the people of the state.
It is noteworthy that Suma Uike, a resident of Bhajiyapar village in the Katangi block of Balaghat, joined a self-help group, took training in mushroom cultivation and animal husbandry, and now earns additional income through thermal therapy and "Didi Kendra" canteen.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav listened to the Mann Ki Baat program at the residence of Shri Ramesh Vijayvargiya in the Vijay Nagar Lalghati area.
