In alignment with this vision, Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh will attend the Bhoomi- Pujan and foundation stone laying ceremony of BRAHMA (BEML Rail Hub for Manufacturing) on August 10 in Obaidullaganj, Raisen district near Bhopal. Union Agriculture & Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also attend the event. Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw will join virtually.
For the first time in Madhya Pradesh, railway and metro coaches will be manufactured and supplied across the country, as well as exported abroad. With an investment of about Rs. 1,800 crore, the project will create direct and indirect employment for over 1,500 people. This state-of-the-art facility will place Madhya Pradesh prominently on India’s railway manufacturing map.
