Government Stands by Citizens in Times of Crisis: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is with flood-affected families in this hour of crisis. CM Dr. Yadav transferred Rs. 30 crore to the accounts of over 28,000 flood-affected people across the state as relief assistance in a single click. CM Dr. Yadav interacted with them, speaking from Samatva Bhavan at the Chief Minister’s residence on Friday. He held virtual discussions with flood victims from Shivpuri, Guna, Damoh, Raisen and Chhindwara, inquiring about the arrangements made by the administration during the floods. Shri Bhagchand from Shivpuri, Shri Radheshyam Saket from Mauganj, Shri Hemraj from Damoh, Shri Govind Singh Sen from Raisen, Shri Chandramohan from Chhindwara, along with victims from Guna and other districts, said that they had never experienced flooding of such magnitude before. The flood victims reported that the administration had established relief camps with accommodations and meals provided for affected families. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is a mark of our cultural values that even in distress, rural people speak with humility. He informed that this monsoon season has brought 37% more rainfall than normal, causing flood situations in several areas of the state. He himself visited affected areas to meet victims and assess the situation on the ground.
