Mumbai, Nov 18 (Reporter) Congress’ Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Monday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani on BJP’s ‘ek hai toh safe hai’ narrative while backing Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray's plan to scrap the Dharavi redevelopment project. Speaking to media persons here on the final day of the polls campaign with 'ek hai toh safe hai' written on it and later pulled out two posters -- one a map of Dharavi and another of Modi and Gautam Adani greeting each other. “Question is… kaun safe hai, kiska safe hai,” he wondered. Simultaneously, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) shall implement a Rs 25 lakh health insurance scheme for the state that will take care of the medical needs of the people, on the lines of a similar one successfully implemented by the Congress in Rajasthan, he assured. He vowed that after the MVA government is voted to power, it will work with dedication for the interests of the people of Maharashtra and Mumbai instead of a handful of the affluent classes. Talking about Dharavi redevelopment issue, he said, “Dharavi land valued at Rs one lakh crore is being handed over to Adani. The project is not in the interest of people of Dharavi. It is not in the interest of people of Mumbai…it is not in the interest of Maharashtra.
