KCR to visit districts soon: Harish Rao

Hyderabad, Jan 6 (Reporter) Former Minister and MLA Harish Rao revealed that former Telangana Chief Minister and BRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is preparing for district visits shortly. The Peddapalli Parliamentary Party meeting, held at Telangana Bhavan on Saturday, addressed various issues. Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao provided updates on KCR's health, expressing optimism about his recovery and imminent return to public engagements. He mentioned that KCR will regularly meet activists at Telangana Bhavan starting in February, emphasizing that district tours by KCR are on the horizon. Harish Rao criticized the Congress government for allegedly removing the KCR symbol from welfare kits. While acknowledging this act, he asserted that the KCR symbol holds a permanent place in the hearts of the Telangana people. Highlighting concerns about the cancellation of welfare schemes initiated by KCR, Harish Rao accused the Congress government of running on a platform of cancellations and postponements. He warned that Congress might face opposition if extreme measures are taken against BRS workers, suggesting that MLAs would mobilize against such actions. Expressing discontent with the government's behavior, Harish Rao predicted a possible public revolt within a year. He cited instances where farmers faced challenges, not receiving payments for Rythu Bandhu, impacting agriculture. Despite development efforts, he regarded the defeat in the assembly elections as a temporary setback.
