Hyderabad, Jan 6 (Reporter) Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka announced that the state government is formulating plans to implement six guarantees.
Participating in the Prajapalana program held at Banigandlapadu in Errupalem Mandal in the Madhira Assembly constituency on Saturday, Bhatti emphasized that the promises made before the elections, including bringing Indiramma Rajyam in Telangana, will be fulfilled. He credited the Congress government for providing free RTC bus travel to women, constituting half of Telangana's society, through the Mahalakshmi scheme.
Additionally, Bhatti highlighted the increase in Rajeev Arogyasri's aid to Rs 10 lakh, aiming to enhance medical care for the underprivileged. He mentioned that applications are being accepted in public to prepare the budget required for implementing the six guarantees.
Bhatti expressed frustration with BRS leaders who criticized the Congress government for failing to fulfil the guarantees.
He criticized the previous BRS government for not providing houses to deserving individuals and accumulating a debt of seven lakh crore rupees, turning the state treasury into financial chaos. Bhatti released white papers in the assembly to inform the public about the financial situation inherited from the previous government.
Despite the challenges, Bhatti stated that the Congress government is committed to overcoming obstacles in the power sector, providing quality electricity to the state for 24 hours.
