Chennai, Jan 6 (Reporter) The much-anticipated Global Investors Meet (GIM-2024) will see participation from 50 countries with the Tamil Nadu government all set to showcase its industrial prowess to the world.
The 2-day GIM-2024 will be inaugurated by Chief Minister M.K.Stalin at the sprawling Chennai Trade Centre here on Sunday.
Ahead of the GIM, Mr Stalin on Saturday said "as the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet 2024
approaches, the air is thick with anticipation!"
"With over 30,000 participants, our campaigns, Titans of Tamil Nadu and One Trillion Dreams, have sparked widespread excitement", he said.
"GIM 2024 will feature 450+ international delegates, 170 globally acclaimed speakers, and representation from 50 countries, underscoring Tamil Nadu's industrial prowess", he added.
Mr Stalin said "We have lined up 26 thought leadership sessions. We also have an MSME pavilion, Tamil Nadu ecosystem pavilion, several country pavilions and the Startup TN pavilion – providing a fantastic opportunity for delegates to witness the industrial marvel of the state and foster business collaborations".
"Join us in celebrating the industrial legacy of Tamil Nadu and leveraging the immense potential our state offers!", he said.
From signing MoUs to forging new partnerships across emerging sectors, various countries
are gearing up for the GIM 2024, the first such summit to be organised by the DMK government.
Among the countries that would participate in the two-day event included Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, the United States, Singapore, Japan, France and Korea as the
