On the occasion of Madhya Pradesh’s Foundation Day, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the ‘MP e-Seva Portal and Mobile App’, marking the beginning of innovations in digital governance. This integrated citizen service platform will now make more than 1,700 government services and schemes across 56 departments available on a single digital window. Through the ‘MP e-Seva' initiative, the state has set a target to achieve 100% e-service delivery by 2026. The portal was developed by the Centre of Excellence of the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC), Department of Science and Technology, helping the state position itself among India’s leading digitally-enabled states. By uniting citizens, departments, and services within a single digital ecosystem, Madhya Pradesh has demonstrated that digital governance is indeed good governance.
One Portal for Citizens; All Services Integrated
The MP e-Seva Portal integrates over 1,700 citizen services from 56 state government departments. Now, citizens will no longer need to log in to multiple websites or repeatedly submit documents. Through eseva.mp.gov.in and the dedicated mobile app (Android & iOS), users can check eligibility, apply for services, track application status, and receive approvals. All stages on the MP e-Seva Portal are secured by Aadhaar-based authentication, e-sign, and digital certificates, making the entire process paperless and faceless.
Integration with ‘Samagra Portal’
The ‘MP e-Seva’ is linked to the Samagra Social Security Mission’s Samagra Portal, which assigns every family an 8-digit Family ID and each member a 9-digit Member ID. This integration facilitates automatic verification, enabling instant eligibility identification and eliminating repetition or delays. A key feature of ‘MP e-Seva’ is ‘auto-fetching documents’—citizens no longer need to upload documents multiple times, as previously uploaded documents are automatically available for all subsequent services.
A User-Friendly, Secure, and Citizen-Centric Design
The MP e-Seva Portal interface is built with a mobile-first approach and offers multilingual accessibility. It is also specially designed with disabled users in mind, ensuring ease of use for both urban and rural populations. Initial evaluations suggest this will reduce governance costs by approximately 40% and save citizens around 50 million hours annually.
Madhya Pradesh’s Digital Track Record
According to the September 2025 National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA Way Forward) report, Madhya Pradesh has mapped 1,752 e-services and achieved 100% integration of all 56 mandatory departmental services on the MP e-Seva Portal, securing the second rank in the country. The state has already received the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence for its 'Cyber Tehsil' initiative and the National e-Governance Gold Award for 'Sampada 2.0'.
