Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadavexpressed pride in the fact that in the past two years, numerous development projects considered once impossible have been completed across Madhya Pradesh. The state is establishing new standards of progress, with industrial growth accelerating at an impressive rate of 24%. On Saturday, Dr. Yadav addressed the cultural programs of Madhya Pradesh’s Foundation Day at Lal Parade Ground.

Wildlife and Conservation Efforts

The Chief Minister highlighted that Madhya Pradesh is home to two tiger reserves—Bhopal Van Vihar and Madhav National Park Shivpuri—and a total of nine tiger sanctuaries across the state. He also announced the upcoming initiation of the 27th sanctuary at Omkareshwar, which will span the districts of Khandwa and Dewas. He noted that the state has received numerous cultural gifts and treasures.

Millions Visit Ujjain

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, conservation initiatives are ongoing, along with cultural festivities. Over 70 million pilgrims and tourists have visited Ujjain, reflecting the city’s spiritual and cultural vibrancy.

Development in Chitrakoot

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasised that Lord Ram is smiling in Ayodhya, and Orcha and Chitrakoot remain key centers of religious and spiritual devotion in the state. Over Rs. 28 crore will be spent on various development projects in Chitrakoot. Over the past two years, Madhya Pradesh has seen the commencement of three airports, in Datia, Satna and Rewa. Today, an MoU was also signed for the development of an airport at Ujjain’s airstrip.

First Ever PM Shree Helicopter Tourism Service

CM Dr. Yadav announced that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in India to launch the ‘PM Shree’ Tourism Helicopter Service. He projected that within the next five years, the state’s budget would double, accelerating growth and development.

Three Inter-State Irrigation Projects

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav revealed that three inter-state irrigation projects have been launched—Ken-Betwa, Parvati-Kali-Sindh-Chambal, and Tapi Mega Project. These projects will irrigate vast areas in the state, benefit industries with water supply, and ensuredrinking water availability.

Celebration at Lal Parade Ground

The event at Lal Parade Ground featured performances by artists such as Jubin Nautiyal, who enthralled the audience with his melodious voice. Around 500 artists captivated the crowd with a vibrant cultural presentation titled ‘Vishwavand’, a musical journey celebrating Lord Krishna’s divine tales. The celebration included a seven-hour program of music, dance and cultural activities, creating a festive atmosphere across the state.

Cultural and Technological Spectacles

A grand drone show was conducted, depicting images of Madhya Pradesh’s history, heritage, and progress, including Mahakal Temple, Simhastha Festival, and other landmarks. The show symbolized the union of heritage and development, highlighting the state’s journey from its ancient roots to a modern, vibrant future.

Musical and Artistic Extravaganza by Jubin Nautiyal

The event concluded with a grand harmonious concert featuring ‘Vishwavand’, a musical journey led by over 350 singers, including classical, folk and contemporary styles, depicting Lord Krishna’s tales and divine wisdom. Following this, the popular singer Jubin Nautiyal delivered mesmerizing performances, which kept the audience spellbound well into the night.
