New Delhi, July 29 (Reporter) The Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday constituted a committee to investigate the death of three students at a coaching institute in Rajendra Nagar of the national capital, the MHA announced on its official X handle.
The committee will inquire into the reasons, fix responsibility, suggest measures, and recommend policy changes.
The committee will have Additional Secretary, MoUHA, Principal Secretary (Home), Delhi
Government, Special CP, Delhi Police, Fire Advisor, and Joint Secretary, MHA, as conveners.
The panel will submit its report in 30 days.
On Saturday, three students died after the basement of a coaching institute in Rajender Nagar flooded.
The issue was also raised in both Houses of Parliament on Monday, with the Members demanding strict action, the fixing of accountabilities, and adequate compensation to the next of kin of each deceased...////...
