Govt committed to overall development of tribal areas: Maha CM

Mumbai, Feb 25 (Reporter) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed on Tuesday expressed that the government is committed to overall development of the tribal areas and assured that balanced development will be achieved through CSR (corporate social responsibility) funds. Speaking at a conference organised by the Tribal Development Department and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at Sahyadri Guest House here, he said that the government is trying hard to bring the tribal community into the mainstream and said for that, various schemes are being implemented. The Chief Minister further said that to bring the tribal community into mainstream of development, education and health services must be made available at the earliest.
