Large number of Rakhis Reached to Chief Minister’s Residence

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has received a large number of Rakhis and affectionate letters by post from sisters on the auspicious occasion of Raksha-Bandhan. Out of around 5,000 letters and Rakhis, as a symbolic gesture, Ms. Yasha Patel, Ms. Shiva Bathri, Ms. Deepal Raghuvanshi and Ms. Prachi Panwar applied a ceremonial tilak and tied Rakhis on the CM Dr. Yadav’s wrist. CM Dr. Yadav presented them with gifts as ‘Neg’ and wished them a happy, healthy and prosperouis life. Revenue Minister Shri Karan Singh Verma and Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel were also present.

The cordial ceremony took place at Samatva Bhavan, located at the Chief Minister’s residence. In the letters received, sisters expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for women-centric initiatives, including the ‘Ladli Behna’ Yojana, and other schemes dedicated to women’s empowerment and welfare as well. The letters conveyed their affection and appreciation.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, in his message to the sisters, said that the state government stands with them in every joy and sorrow like a family. Various schemes are being implemented to provide opportunities for the progress of women in the state. He remarked that festivals are the foundation of our culture and values and that receiving such heartfelt letters from sisters on the sacred occasion of Raksha-Bandhan was deeply moving for him. CM Dr. Yadav also expressed his gratitude to the sisters for sending the Rakhis.
