Chandigarh, Nov 14 (Reporter) Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar on Thursday said that the decision to give 10 acres of land to Haryana for a separate assembly in Chandigarh should be reconsidered. Jakhar wrote on "X" with the said decision, Punjab intimacy will be hurt. He said that he believed that this decision should be reconsidered in order to maintain strong relations between Punjab and the Center. "I appeal to the Prime Minister to personally intervene and cancel this decision," Jakhar said. He alleged that the issue on which all the parties of Punjab were unanimous, due to the misunderstanding of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the claim of Chandigarh and Punjab has weakened. He said in Jaipur, when in the meeting of the North Zonal Council, Haryana asked for this land for the Vidhan Sabha before the Union Home Minister, instead of opposing it, the Punjab Chief Minister gave his stamp of approval to the demand of Haryana by asking for land for the Legislative Assembly of Punjab as well.
