Bihar assembly adjourned following ruckus by opposition

Patna, July 25 (Reporter) The post lunch sitting of Bihar Assembly was adjourned till 4.50 p.m. following ruckus created by the opposition during a debate on the cut motion of the Education Department under the first supplementary 2024-25. When the debate on the cut motion was in progress and BJP member Jivesh Kumar was placing his points, the opposition members started demanding from the speaker Nand Kishore Yadav to allow them to speak on their issues. Insisting the Speaker to allow them to speak, the opposition members rushed to the well of the house and shouted slogans against the government. The speaker assured the protesting members to let them speak only when they resume their seats. Even after repeated requests from the speaker, the opposition members continued to create ruckus from the well of the house and started disturbing the reporter's desk and chair. The speaker tried to bring the house in order but in vain following which he adjourned it within 20 minutes till 4.50 p.m. Earlier Finance Minister Samrat Chaudhary moved the first supplementary 2024-25 after which the Human Resources Minister Sunil Kumar proposed for the debate on his department...////...
