Anakapalli (Andhra Pradesh) Apr 13 (Reporter) The Andhra Pradesh government has announced Rs 15 lakh ex-gratia to the bereaved families of those dead in the explosion at the firecracker making unit in this district on Sunday. Home Minister V Anitha visited the fire cracker making unit at Kotauratla village. Talking to the media, she said that Rs 15 lakh ex-gratia would be extended to bereaved families. The Minister said that eight workers lost their lives in the huge explosion that took place in the firecracker unit today. She said that at least 15 workers were working when the explosion took place. A comprehensive inquiry is on into the incident by the officials, Anita said. The Home Minister made it clear that the firecracker making unit has obtained a license to make firecrackers and the licence is valid till 2026...////...
