Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the 9th Annakoot Festival and evening Bhajan event organised in Ujjain from his residence via video conferencing on Saturday. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the government is firmly committed to preserving and promoting the state’s rich religious and cultural heritage and traditions. He described the Annakoot Festival as A Celebration of Faith and Devotion, as well as an opportunity to earn virtue. The Chief Minister stated that God has bestowed equal opportunities upon everyone to serve society and humanity, and each individual should come forward to contribute in this direction.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted the swift pace of development activities throughout the state, emphasising community cooperation for progress. He stated that blessings from saints and sages provide immense energy to serve the people. He assured that his government upholds all democratic traditions while performing the duties of governance with diligence and moral strength. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav extended greetings and best wishes to all for the Annakoot Festival.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that grand celebrations will be organised across the state on the forthcoming Geeta Jayanti, with a major event to be held at Ujjain’s Dussehra Maidan. He emphasised that the government is developing all sites associated with Lord Krishna’s divine journey as important pilgrimage destinations. Rapid development work is underway at Chitrakoot, Orchha, and other locations involved in the construction of the Shri Ram Van Gaman Path.
As soon as Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the sanction of ₹140 crore for the construction of Shani Lok within the Shani Temple premises in Ujjain, a wave of joy swept through the devotees of Lord Shani. The assembled devotees expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav by illuminating the venue with mobile torches, creating a radiant and devotional atmosphere.
