Mumbai Feb 26 (Reporter) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Wednesday strongly condemned the rape of a woman in a state-goverment run MSRTC bus in Pune and sought death penalty for the alleged accused in the case. Pawar said he has instructed the Pune police to investigate the matter and arrest the accused who is currently on the run. In a massage on X, he said “The incident of the rape of one of our sisters at Swargate bus station in Pune is extremely unfortunate, painful, infuriating and shameful to all in civilized society.
