3100 acre land incorporated in land bank in Bihar

Patna, Mar 24 (Reporter) The Bihar government announced that 3100 acre land has been incorporated in the land Bank and has further received proposals for including 19,800 acre land in the land bank. While replying to a query of MLA Vijay Kumar Sinha alias Dablu Singh during pre lunch sitting in the state assembly on Monday, Bihar industry minister Nitish Mishra said that a decision was made by the cabinet in July 2024 for expansion of the land Bank which already exist in 31 districts and in the other seven districts it would be made soon. He said that the lands were being distributed to the investors for establishing their units through Bihar Industrial Srea Development Authority ( BIADA) which regularly monitors that there should be no obstruction in want of land. He said following distribution of land among the investors the land Bank depleted in view of which the cabinet decided for its expansion and the land Bank was being created in every district. The Minister said that the government has received proposals for 19 thousand 800 acre lands to be in corporate in the bank which would be transferred from the next financial year.
