Prayagraj, Feb 25 (Reporter) A 24-year-old youth was shot dead by other youths In Colonelganj area of Prayagraj district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Tuesday. Police sources said that the incident tok place late on Monday night when Shashank (24), a resident of Jagdishpur, in Civil Lines Market, had a dispute with some persons. "After the altercation while Shashank attempted to flee the attackers chased and shot him in the chest near the fountain intersection in Mumfordganj," they said. Police sources said that the injured youth was taken to the Bailey Hospital where doctors declared him dead. "Police investigation revealed that cases were lodged against the deceased Shashank Singh under various sections in many police stations including Colonelganj," they said. He said that the accused Shubham Mishra and his accomplices are being searched. "The reason for the murder will be known after the accused are caught. Two friends of the deceased Shashank have been taken into custody and are being questioned," he said...////...
