Banda (UP), Feb 25 (Reporter) Three persons were killed and eight others injured when a car collided with an SUV in the Atarra area of Banda district in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, a police officer said. Police identified the deceased as Hinglaj (32), Rakesh Soni (24), and Rakesh Sharma (25). Circle Officer (CO) Atarra Praveen Kumar said the incident took place on Bundelkhand Express way when devotees identified as Dharmendra, Rakesh Sharma, Rakesh Soni, Raju alias Rajju, Hinglaj, Lalman, all residents of Meharta village of Nagaur district of Rajasthan, were going to Prayagraj in a car. He said that at Oran town their vehicle was hit by a SUV. Ashok Kumar, Dinesh Soni, Kusum, Pushpa, and Shobha, all residents of Madhya Pradesh, were traveling in the SUV to Prayagraj Kumbh. "All 11 devotees riding in both the vehicles were injured in the accident," he said. The CO said that the police reached the spot and sent all the injured to the Primary Health Center Shivrampur in the nearest Chitrakoot district. "At PHC car driver Hinglaj (32), Rakesh Soni (24), and Rakesh Sharma (25) succumbed to injuries.
