Youth Clinic to improve health of young generation: Mangal

Patna, Mar 2 (Reporter)Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey said that youth clinics have been introduced with special attention for better health of the young generation. Pandey said here on Sunday that keeping in mind the strength of the youth and their physical and mental health, the government was running youth clinics in the medical college hospitals, Sadar hospitals and up to primary-communities centres in 10 districts across the state. The youth from 10 to 19 years of age were getting free advice and treatment at these centres, he said and informed that till December in the 2024-25 financial year 1 lakh 9 thousand 356 youth were provided free treatment and medical counselling. The Minister said that 208 youth clinics were being run across the state and several of them have been upgraded.
