Patna, March 2 (Reporter)Bihar Health Minister and former state President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mangal Pandey said that Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is daydreaming of power, which is never going to be fulfilled. Pandey said here on Sunday that even after a bunch of promises made by the RJD, the people of Bihar will never give the corrupt any opportunity to loot. He said that RJD was day dreaming of power which will never come true and politics of gimmick would not succeed in the state. The demand for 200 units of free electricity by a party whose rule kept Bihar in darkness for 15 years is ridiculous, he quipped. Electricity was a distant dream for the people in remote and urban areas during RJD rule, Pandey alleged saying that electricity was never on the priority list of the RJD. Speaking about reservations, the BJP leader alleged that it was limited only to the Lalu family and Yadav never gave any opportunity to anyone other than his family members. He said that Yadav deprived the rights of the backward by conducting Panchayat elections in 2001 without giving reservation to them. It was the NDA government that provided reservations to the section in the panchayats after coming to power in 2005. He said that the RJD cannot even imagine the work done for women's empowerment during the NDA rule. Bihar has become the first state in the country to accord 50 percent reservation to the women in Panchayat and 35 percent reservation to women of every section in the government jobs...////...
