Varanasi, Feb 14 (Reporter) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday offered prayers at Ravidas Temple in Seer Goverdhanpur area on the second day of his tour to Varanasi.
During his visit the CM also interacted with the temple's Mahant and inquired about his well-being. He also inspected the langar hall of the temple in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed visit to Varanasi.
Additionally, he observed the idol, which will be unveiled by the PM during his visit, along with other activities going on at the temple. It may be noted that during his two-day visit to Kashi, Yogi took stock of several ongoing developmental activities in the city.
UP's Minister of State for AYUSH and Food Security (Independent Charge) Dr Daya Shankar Mishra 'Dayalu', District Panchayat President Poonam Maurya, MLC Hansraj Vishwakarma, MLA Dr Neelkanth Tiwari, Saurabh Srivastava and administrative officials were present during the inspection.
