Ballia (UP), Feb 1 (Reporter) Two people, including a woman, were killed and five others injured when a jeep collided with a pickup van in the Ubhanv area of Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, police sources said here. Police sources said that the incident took place when members of a family from Mau district were going to Buxar in Bihar to attend a function. "Near Bidhara village, their jeep collided with the pickup coming from Rasra," they said. Police sources said that Vrinda Devi (45) and jeep driver Suryakesh Rajbhar (52) were killed in the incident. "Five people, including Anil Kumar, Geeta Devi, Ram Babu, Mahatam, and cyclist Suraj Kumar, sustained serious injuries in the incident.
