Jaunpur (UP), Aug 31 (Reporter) A case of extortion has been registered against former MP from Machhli Shahar Lok Sabha constituency Umakant Yadav and his two sons in Jaunpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a senior police officer said here on Saturday. Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Ajay Pal Sharma said that on the application of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former president of Nagar Palika Parishad Om Prakash Jaiswal, a case of extortion has been registered in Shahganj police station against jailed MP Umakant Yadav and his two sons, Dinesh Kant and Ravi Kant, who are serving life sentence on the charge of murder. He said that Om Prakash Jaiswal has alleged that the former MP and his two sons, Dinesh Kant and Ravi Kant, have also talked to him and his brother Pradeep Kumar Jaiswal several times, demanding extortion money.
