To promote economic empowerment, universities should introduce new job-oriented courses like Dairy Technology and Agriculture Chief Minister felicitated by the Madhya Pradesh University Joint Struggle Committee. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that universities in the state are continuously becoming stronger and that in the future, all universities will be financially self-reliant and capable. Universities are being encouraged to introduce courses aligned with modern requirements alongside traditional faculties.

The Chief Minister urged universities to establish medical colleges in their respective regions, assuring that the state government would affiliate hospitals with them. The government will bear the costs of salaries and allowances for hospital staff, while universities will manage teaching, learning, and examinations. Exam fees will be utilized for the operation, management, and expansion of both the medical colleges and universities.

Additionally, Chief Minister Yadav emphasized that universities should offer professional and skill-based courses like Dairy Technology and Agriculture. He was addressing a felicitation ceremony organized by the Madhya Pradesh University Joint Struggle Committee at Barkatullah University’s Gyan Vigyan Bhavan.

Dr. Yadav reaffirmed that the state government is committed to the welfare of government employees and pensioners. Employees and pensioners from government universities will also benefit from salary and allowance hikes.
