Madhya Pradesh is implementing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of empowering the poor, farmers, youth and women, while also promoting nature, environmental protection and water conservation as a mission. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the state is witnessing a water revolution through the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. The campaign is exceeding its targets in constructing farm ponds, Amrit Sarovars and dugwell recharge pits. These efforts will not only expand irrigation but also raise groundwater levels and boost rural livelihoods.
