Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid floral tribute on the martyrdom day of the founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, revered Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav offered a garland at the statue of the fierce nationalist thinker Dr. Mukherjee located near the BJP office and expressed gratitude for his contribution to the reconstruction of the nation. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the world's largest democratic country, India, there have been many great men like Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, who never had any desire for position and worked for the unity and integrity of the country.

Dedicated to national unity, Dr. Mukherjee gave the slogan that two flags, two constitutions, and two prime ministers will not work in one country. He stirred the country and sacrificed his life. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program organized at the statue site of revered Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his martyrdom day on Monday.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the great educationist and our guide Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee made us realize for the first time that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India, the crown jewel of the nation. Dr. Mukherjee became a vice-chancellor in his youth and participated in many movements in Bengal, telling citizens how our contribution should be in the development of the country. When Dr. Mukherjee became the Union Minister of Supply and Textiles, each of his decisions was commendable. His guidance for the service of Mother India, public welfare, and the upliftment of the weaker sections is the foundation of India's construction.
