Two residents of Uttarakhand, arrested in Mumbai with 'Heroin'.

Mumbai, May 30 (Reporter)The Kandivali unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Crime Branch on Thursday arrested two residents of Uttarakhand in Mumbai and seized 280 grams of 'Heroin' worth Rs 1 crore 12 lakhs in the international markets from their possession. Official sources said they were arrested while supplying the drug in the Borivali area of the city suburb. The two accused are presently residing in Palghar district on a rental basis. The police registered a case against the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act) and presented them in court. and the court remanded them into police custody till June 3. The Crime Branch team is further investigating the matter and trying to find out the source of the drug. Further details are awaited...////...
