Firozabad, June 8 (Reporter) Three persons were killed and 27 others injured when a bus carrying pilgrims overturned and fell into a ditch in Nasirpur area of Firozabad district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, a police officer said here. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ran Vijay Singh said that the accident took place on Agra-Lucknow expressway when the bus overturned and fell into a ditch. "Around 65 passengers were travelling in the bus of which 30 sustained injuries. After getting the information a relief and rescue operation was launched immediately," he said. Police sources said that along with a woman, a seven-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, who sustained serious injuries, died during treatment. "The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained," they said. The sources said that all the deceased were residents of Durg district in Chhattisgarh.
