Lucknow, June 8 (Reporter) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday directed the Ministers to engage with the public by imparting the mantra of communication, coordination, and sensitivity and emphasised that the government exists for the people, and their welfare is paramount.
During a special meeting with the council of ministers, the CM said that the ministers should go to the field, engage with the public with sensitivity, coordinate with local representatives and government administration to resolve issues. "Any problems encountered should be promptly reported to the Chief Minister's office, ensuring full support at all times," he said.
The CM extended congratulations on the formation of the government at the centre for the third consecutive time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He congratulated the ministers who were elected as Members of Parliament.
Yogi said, "The development in UP has gained momentum over the past 10 years under the Prime Minister's leadership and in the next five years, we will achieve many new milestones."
He urged all ministers to significantly promote the achievements of both the central and state governments and to enhance their presence on social media platforms. "The public should be informed about the policies, decisions, and positive outcomes of the double-engine government," the CM said.
He emphasised that whether they are ministers or other public representatives, everyone must avoid VIP culture. He stressed that none of their activities should reflect VIP culture and urged everyone to remain vigilant and cautious in this regard.
Discussing the departmental action plan, Yogi said that the state government is working towards the goal of a 1 trillion dollar economy. He highlighted that responsibilities for each department have been clearly outlined, underscoring that it is the duty of ministers to regularly assess progress towards this target and swiftly address any issues that may arise.
While discussing future programmes, the Chief Minister mentioned that extensive plantation drives, the School Chalo Abhiyan and communicable disease control programs are scheduled for the coming days. "Efforts from everyone will be required for their success. All honourable ministers should ensure their contribution in their respective areas," he said.
Yogi said that the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25 is about to end. "All departments should ensure the appropriate expenditure of the funds allocated in the current budget," he said.
The CM stressed the need for expediting both allocation and expenditure processes, urging for a thorough review of departmental expenditures at every level.
He said, "Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, we are receiving all possible assistance from the central government for the comprehensive development of the state. Efforts should be made to establish coordination with the centre to obtain the remaining funds. Departmental ministers should personally communicate with the Union Ministers. Projects should not be hindered due to the lack of central share. The work should be continued by releasing the state share as per the rules. All departments should ensure to send 100 percent utility certificates on time."
Prioritizing public hearings, Yogi said that the core of all the state's welfare efforts is the satisfaction of the common man and the advancement of the state. "The public hearing resolution system (IGRS and CM Helpline) is a very useful medium for the easy resolution of common people's complaints and problems. Whether they are ministers, other public representatives, or officers and employees, everyone has the responsibility to promptly prioritise and resolve the applications received on IGRS," he said.
He said, "We have adopted a zero-tolerance policy against crime and criminals. Ministers should also review the actions being taken at the police station, tehsil, and district levels regarding applications received on IGRS and the CM Helpline," the CM said.
Yogi also underscored the importance of implementing the e-Cabinet system for conducting cabinet meetings and ensuring the effective integration of the e-office system across all departments...////...
