Hathras (UP), April 1 (Reporter) Launching an attack on the opposition parties, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that those who point fingers at Prime Minister Narendra Modi are hindering India's development.
Addressing the 'Prabuddh Varg Sammelan' in Hathras, the Chief Minister said, "These individuals are obstacles in the journey towards a Viksit Bharat. We must eliminate these obstacles and strive to achieve the vision of a secure and prosperous India under the leadership of PM Modi."
Emphasizing that Viksit Bharat, all-around development is Modi's guarantee, he said, "In a developed India, every individual, regardless of their caste or community, should receive respect and opportunities to progress without discrimination. Where the rule of law prevails, not anarchy and equal protection is ensured for daughters and traders alike."
Yogi said that the development must be inclusive with no room for casteism or nepotism. "This forms the foundation of the idea of a developed India. We have seen Modi's guarantee work on the ground and therefore the entire country has faith in it," he said.
He appealed to the public to support the minister in the state government and Bharatiya Janata Party's Lok Sabha candidate from Hathras Anup Valmiki 'Pradhan'.
Emphasising that Hathras serves as the gateway to the Braj division, the Chief Minister said, "In 2020, Prime Minister Modi spoke about 'Atma Nirbhar Bharat'. The people of Hathras, Kasganj, Aligarh, Moradabad, Agra, and Mathura had already achieved self-reliance centuries ago. When we formulated the
ODOP policy to promote products from every district in the state was based on the brass work of Moradabad, hardware of Aligarh, asafoetida of Hathras, and glass items of Firozabad. Handicrafts and skills have always been integral to our heritage. Your ancestors here exemplified social self-reliance through the pursuit of self-reliance."
Pointing out that intellectuals play a pivotal role in leading society, he appealed to them to actively participate in the upcoming elections and contribute to the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) target of achieving 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh to form a Narendra Modi-led government at the centre.
Yogi said, "Intellectuals give voice to the beliefs and opinions of the society. Through your guidance, you can help shape public opinion, thus sharing in the responsibility. You have witnessed the transformation of India from the turmoil before 2014 to a more prosperous nation thereafter. Security, prosperity, livelihood, and respect for faith have all improved."
He said that the honour of India is the honor of 140 crore people. "Numerous infrastructure projects have been completed, and today, development is becoming synonymous with our national identity. The impact of our welfare schemes for the poor is unparalleled," he said.
The Chief Minister said this election is 'family first versus nation first'. "It represents a critical decision between appeasement and the preservation of India's faith. We have to choose between those who promote anarchy, incite riots, and enforce curfews and Modi's government, which ensures a riot-free, curfew-free and secure environment. Our governance schemes have been implemented without bias, regardless of caste, creed, region, or language, everyone has been equally entitled to the benefits of development initiatives," he said.
He also praised the sitting MP Rajveer Singh Diler from the platform, stating that Anup Valmiki has Diler's firm support. "When the party decided to introduce a new candidate, Rajveer Singh diligently embraced his role as a party worker. Despite the party selecting Anup Valmiki as its candidate, Rajveer Singh consistently demonstrated dedication. During his tenure as a minister in the state government, I witnessed his commitment as I accompanied him across the state. He continued to work with utmost honesty. I urge you all to keep us informed about every development," he said.
Yogi urged the intellectuals to visit door to door as Narendra Modi and Anoop Valmiki, seeking votes for the NDA candidates and also managing booths. "With the elections anticipated in the third phase, campaigning will intensify amid rising temperatures. We must diligently prepare every voter to cast their ballots in favour of NDA candidates, demonstrating unwavering faith in Modi's leadership," he said.
He emphasised that under a BJP government in the state, there's the assurance of security, development, and effective implementation of welfare schemes for the poor. "Long-awaited initiatives have come to fruition, including the establishment of Ramlala's temple in Ayodhya, fulfilling the aspirations of generations. Trikaldarshi Maharishi Valmiki played a pivotal role in communicating with Lord Ram. Ayodhya Airport was also named after Maharishi Valmiki," he said...////...
