Another blow to Kamal Nath: Chhindwara Mayor joins BJP

Bhopal, Apr 1 (Reporter) Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath faced another setback as the Mayor of Chhindwara, Vikram Ahake joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday. Ahake took BJP's membership in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and party's state President Vishnudatt Sharma. BJP sources said alongside Ahake, several other leaders who joined the BJP included Chhindwara Municipal Corporation President Pramod Sharma, District President of Scheduled Caste Department Siddhant Thanesar, and several other district officials of the NSUI. The sources claimed that Ahake took the step after being hurt by the alleged controversial statements made by Congress candidate and current MP Nakul Nath regarding the tribals of Chhindwara. Chief Minister Yadav accused Kamal Nath of making "a lot of'mess" in Chhindwara. Sharma told reporters that Kamal Nath has been 'exposed' in Chhindwara. where people are now with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He alleged that Nakul Nath on Sunday insulted tribals who would now give a befitting reply to the Congress. Only two days back, Kamlesh Shah, the Congress MLA from Amarwada under the Chhindwara Lok Sabha constituency, also crossed over to the BJP...////...
