Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that in order to spark the interest of youth in our rich cultural heritage, it is essential to use the latest technology to present historical knowledge engagingly. Advanced technology is also necessary for the conservation of heritage. In this context, the initiative by the State Museum to launch an Immersive Experience Centre is both timely and innovative. World-class visitor facilities are being developed at monuments and museums across Madhya Pradesh. The state’s efforts in preserving and showcasing its museum heritage have earned it a distinct identity on national and global platforms.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the state-level program at the State Museum on the occasion of World Museum Day. He inaugurated the Immersive Experience Centre and virtually launched associated events in Indore, Gwalior, and Jabalpur.

Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we are witnessing a transforming India. This transformation is evident in every sector. Museums are no longer just for historians and researchers—they have become centres of curiosity and knowledge for the general public as well.

Praising the State Museum, the Chief Minister remarked that a visit to Bhopal would now be incomplete without experiencing the State Museum. He directed the Department of School Education, Higher Education, and the State Tourism Development Corporation to jointly schedule museum visits for students division-wise. This will help students connect with the state’s rich historical heritage and raise awareness about the museum’s offerings.
