Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated at the ‘Agro-Industry Conclave 2025’ held in Sitamau, Mandsaur district, during an interaction program with food processing entrepreneurs, that “Prosperous farmers and advanced agriculture are the hallmarks of Madhya Pradesh.” He emphasised that food processing not only provides opportunities for industrial growth but also leads to the economic upliftment of farmers. Under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is committed to the same.
Dr. Yadav said that the state government and its simple and investor-friendly policies are promoting agro-based industries. On this occasion, he inaugurated and performed the bhoomi-pujan (foundation stone-laying) for 11 industrial units worth Rs. 3,812 crore, which are expected to create 6,850 employment opportunities at the local level. He held discussions with investors regarding the opportunities in agri-industrial ventures. He also handed over LOI (Letters of Intent) to investors planning to establish new industries in Neemuch and Mandsaur districts.
The Chief Minister assured that the state government's doors are always open for investors, and all barriers are being removed systematically. “We are committed to the progress of our state and stand firmly with investors, offering all necessary support,” he said.
Dr. Yadav highlighted that investment proposals worth Rs. 30 lakh crore in the were received during the Bhopal Global Investors Summit. Madhya Pradesh offers reliable infrastructure, including electricity, water, roads, and strong industrial promotion policies. He proudly stated that the state has surpassed even the United States in wheat yield per bigha.
