State Government is Continuously Working For Development and Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is continuously working for socio-economic and educational development and welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Our objective is to ensure that benefits of schemes reach every eligible person. The state government is sensitive towards various suggestions and ready for innovations to make schemes and programmes more effective. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these remarks while interacting with members of Central Parliamentary Committee constituted for welfare of Scheduled Castes and Tribes, who visited the Chief Minister’s residence under chairmanship of former Union Minister of State Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste.

Chairman of central committee Shri Kulaste said that the committee is doing a ground-level review with the aim of making various schemes and programmes being run for SC, ST more effective. Along with this, representation of employees in services and progress of welfare activities run for them is also being assessed. The committee has held dialogue with local communities, administrative officials and public representatives regarding schemes and programmes. The report being prepared by the committee will be presented in Parliament.

It is noteworthy that central committee was on a two-day visit to the state. The committee included Rajya Sabha MPs Shri Mithlesh Kumar, Smt. Mamta Thakur, Smt. Sumitra Walmik, Shri Devendra Pratap Singh, Smt. Phulo Devi Netam, Shri Rwangara Narzary and Lok Sabha MPs Shri Harish Meena, Shri Arun Kumar, Smt. Protima Mandal, Shri Jagannath Sarkar, Shri Govind Karjol, Shri D. Prasad Rao and Shri Vishnu Dayal Ram.
