Stalin reads out Preamble, administers pledge to mark 75th anniv of Indian Constitution

Chennai, Nov 26 (Reporter) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin read out the Preamble of the Constitution and also administered a pledge to the Ministers and officials at the State Secretariat to mark the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution on Tuesday, The Preamble was read out in all government offices, schools and colleges to mark the occasion. The reading of the Preamble also took place in all departments of the Secretariat, departmental headquarters, High Court, District Collectorates, other government offices and PSUs. The Constitution of India came to effect on this day in 1949 and this year marked its 75th anniversary. It was designed and drafted by DR B R Ambedkar, who was hailed as the architect of the Indian Constitution--a noble creation--that encompassed the democratic principles to take the country forward on the path of prosperity. Mr Stalin also announced grand celebrations to mark the occasion that included oratorical competitions, seminars and quiz programs on the basic principles of the Constitution and Constitutional norms in schools and colleges to promote awareness and its understanding...////...
