Speaker urges all parties to cooperate during budget session of UP assembly

Lucknow, Feb 1 (Reporter) Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana on Thursday requested cooperation from all parties for the smooth conduct of the budget session starting from Friday.During an all-party meeting convened at Vidhan Bhawan here, the Speaker said that the house runs only with everyone's cooperation. "Public problems can be solved meaningfully through logical, factual and quality dialogue in a positive environment," he said.On this occasion, Chief Minister and Leader of the House Yogi Adityanath said that as per the parliamentary tradition, the session will start with the address of Governor Anandiben Patel and the budget for the financial year 2024-25 will be presented during the session.He said that in the past years, the UP Assembly has set an example of a parliamentary working system in the entire country. "This has strengthened democracy. The house is known for healthy discussions. This work has been possible with the cooperation of party leaders," he said.The CM said that a series of innovations has started in the assembly under the leadership of the Speaker. "Various works like digitisation, beautification of the gallery, renovation of the hall have been done in the house. This work has become exemplary for the country. Speakers of Legislative Assemblies of various states, Parliamentary Affairs Ministers come to see these innovations. It is a matter of pride for us," he said.He assured full cooperation of the ruling party in the smooth conduct of the session. Yogi said that carrying forward serious discussions while maintaining the high dignity and decorum of the house increases the public's faith in democracy. The CM said, "The state government is ready to discuss issues related to the development and public welfare of the state. There should be discussion in the assembly in a positive atmosphere. Following parliamentary traditions, all members should present their suggestions and issues in the house."He said that various members expressed their good wishes for the consecration program of Lord Shri Ram Lalla on January 22. "Under the guidance of the Speaker, arrangements will be made for the public representatives to have darshan and worship at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. We all were fortunate to be able to witness the consecration of Lord Shri Ram Lalla at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. Leadership from different regions of the country were present in the event with devotion," he said.The CM said that 2 to 3 lakh devotees are coming to Ayodhya every day. "32 crore tourists came to UP last year. There are immense possibilities in the field of tourism in the state. The tourism sector is creating many employment opportunities. The central government has released an album of commemorative postage stamps of various countries related to Lord Shri Ram. This postage stamp series will also be made available to all the MLAs," he said.Earlier, he inaugurated the renovated Rajarshi Purushottamdas Tandon Hall located at Vidhan Bhavan. Yogi also distributed Prasad of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple to the members attending the all-party meeting.Manoj Kumar Pandey of Samajwadi Party, Ram Niwas Verma of Apna Dal (Sonelal), Rajpal Singh Balyan of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), Om Prakash Rajbhar of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, Anil Kumar of Nirbal Indian Shoshit Hamara Aam Dal, Tripathi, Aradhana Mishra 'Mona' of Congress, Raghuraj Pratap Singh of Jansatta Dal Loktantrik and Umashankar Singh of Bahujan Samaj Party assured full cooperation from their respective parties...////...
