Shivraj slams Tejashwi for criticism of PM on visit to Bihar

Patna, Feb 23 (Reporter) Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Sunday slammed RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav for his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Bihar. Yadav while reacting to statement of Tejashwi criticising PM's visit to Bihar, saying Modi visited states irrespective of elections there. Allegation of Tejashwi that PM visited usually election bound states had no basis, as he had visited Madhya Pradesh today, would come to Bihar on Monday and visit Assam on February 25, he stated and pointed out that there was no election in Madhya Pradesh and Assam. "Our Prime Minister is not confined to bungalows, he lives among the people and works for them,” Chauhan said. He stressed that PM Modi’s presence was not limited to states with upcoming elections, pointing to the PM’s visits to Madhya Pradesh and Assam, where elections were not imminent. “You can also look at the previous visits of Prime Minister,” he added referring to PM Modi’s unmatched outreach efforts. Union Minister said that Modi would release Rs 20,000 crores under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a big boost to agro economy.
