Patna, Feb 24 (Reporter) At least seven labourers were killed in a truck-auto rickshaw collision near Nura Bridge in Patna district, on the Masaurhi Nabatpur road under the Masaudhi police station area, police sources said on Monday. Police said here on Monday that 12 labourers were returning by an autorickshaw that was hit by a speeding truck coming from the opposite side late Sunday night. Seven labourers died on the spot , whereas the others sustained injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident and have initiated rescue operations to assist the victims. The deceased were identified as Sushil Kumar (34), Vinay bind (31), Ramesh bind (50), Matendra (25) and Umesh bind (36). The identities of the remaining are yet to be ascertained.
