Governor Shri Patel congratulated the trainee Deputy Collectors for their success in securing a place in the state’s most prestigious service.
On Tuesday, Governor Shri Patel was addressing trainee officers of the 2020 and 2021 batches of the Madhya Pradesh State Public Service Commission at Raj Bhavan. Principal Secretary to the Governor Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari was also present at the programme organized at Raj Bhavan.
Governor Shri Patel said that the administrative service is not merely a job, but a great opportunity to serve society and the nation. He said they represent the generation of the Amrit Kaal era, entrusted with the great mission of realizing the dream of a developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. They have been given the privilege to contribute to the development and welfare of the state.
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that civil servants are the foundation of good governance. Public trust in the administration grows through their prudent, just, and public-spirited conduct. A successful officer is a good team leader, and their success depends on harmony, cooperation, and transparency with colleagues. He urged them to keep learning at every stage of life, be cordial with colleagues, benefit from their experiences, and use their own learning to improve the lives of the people of the state.
