Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has stated that CRISP should assess the employment demand in various industrial sectors of the state and design skill development programs accordingly. Local students should be trained in line with the requirements of regional industries, enabling them to secure jobs within their regions.

Governor Shri Patel was addressing the 29th Foundation Day program of the Centre for Research and Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP) at Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium. He congratulated all present on the occasion of CRISP’s 29th Foundation Day. A video message from Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, extending greetings for the occasion, was also displayed during the program. Minister for Higher Education, AYUSH, and Technical Education, Shri Inder Singh Parmar, was also present.

Governor Shri Patel presented commendation certificates to women trainees under the Saksham Yojana and trainees under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. He also visited the exhibition prepared by the trainees and appreciated their work. He said that CRISP has opened new avenues of self-reliance for the youth through skill development programmes under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. This is a commendable effort towards fulfilling Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of building a self-reliant and developed India.

The Governor said, "Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is moving forward with the pledge of ‘Skilled India’ and ‘Capable India’ and is emerging as an economic superpower". India now has the world’s third-largest start-up ecosystem. The state government is also committed to skill development, with special opportunities for girls. As a result, girls’ participation in admissions to institutions like IITs, NITs, and IIITs has been steadily increasing.
