Mumbai, July 16 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex remained on top for the third consecutive session on Tuesday, with 166.29 points at 80,837.16, a new high in the opening session as buying was witnessed across the board. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) gained 38.90 points to 24,625.60. The NSE registered days as high and low at 24,650.05 and 24,599.75 pts, respectively. In 30 seconds, 15 advanced while 15 declined. The midcap gained 0.26 pc and mall cap gained 0.69 pc. The gainers were Bharti Airtel by 2.11 pc to Rs 1467.50, Tata Steel by 1.11 pc to Rs 168.65, ICICI Bank by 0.93 pc to Rs 1241.70, and Infosys by 0.72 pc to Rs 1240.85. The losers were Kotak Bank by 0.73 percent to Rs 1830.65, L&T by 0.45 percent to Rs 3634.20, Powergrid by 0.39 percent to Rs 342.55, and IndusInd Bank by 0.35 percent to Rs 1439.55...////...
