Mumbai, June 12 (Reporter) Erasing losses, the BSE Sensex on Wednesday was on top in the opening session, advancing 474.99 pts at 76931.58, an all-time high as buying was seen across the board.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 131.70 points at 23396.55.
The sensex registered intraday highs and lows at 76967.73 and 76553.53 pts, respectively.
The NSE registered days high and low at 23420.35 and 23295.95 pts, respectively.
The midcap rose by 0.90 pc and the small cap by 0.95 pc.
In 30 scrips, 23 advanced while 7 declined.
The gainers were Tata Motors by 1.55 pc to Rs 1002.40, HCL Technologies by 1.55 pc to Rs 1452, Tata Steel by 1.19 pc to Rs 183.50, Powergrid by 1.15 pc to Rs 320.20, and Wipro by 1.09 pc to Rs 481.15.
The losers were Asian Paints by 0.75 pc to Rs 2880.40, Titan by 0.58 pc to Rs 3388.35, Hind Unilever by 0.46 pc to Rs 2543.70, and Nestle India Ltd by 0.41 pc to Rs 2532.70.
